The end of the year is fast approaching and many business owners are looking at ways to offset their taxes with writeoffs.  There are many deductions available, but we like to focus on those that make sense to small businesses.

Did you know that you can write off advertising signs and banners?  This includes things like A-frames and Sale banners – even brochures.  Think ahead to your marketing plan for the first 3 – 6 months of 2015.  You’re going to need signs, banners, and advertisements designed and printed for each of those promotions.  If you place those orders now, even if you don’t actually have them produced until next year, you can write off the cost of those marketing tools.  This is a great way to get ahead of your marketing efforts in 2015, plus reduce your tax liabilities for this year.

Of course if you need banners or signs produced for your business in Fredericksburg, we strongly recommend going through Signs For Anything.  Be sure to ask for Brian McGuire – he’s their lead graphic designer and has created multiple banners, a-frames, and wall art for our own office.
